Comments:
Anthony, a neglected pet dog, develops an irritating skin condition and has most of his hair shaved off, which embarrasses him greatly until her realized he now looks like a lion and can frighten other animals and people.
My thoughts were that this book was eh! I thought I'd like it but I understand why it didn't circulate and we were in the process of weeding it from our collection. It was just boring, especially for a kid's dog book - and it's British, which is not my favourite - when it comes to literature.
