May #4 - BECAUSE YOUR VAMPIRE SAID SO

Title: Because your vampire said so

Author: Michele Bardsley

Publisher: Signet Eclipse

Copyright: 2008

ISBN: 978-0-451-22386-9

Series or stand-alone: #3

Setting: Broken Heart, OK

1st Sentence:

"I ain't a grooming service," I said, wishing I could still smoke Marlboros.

Comments:

This story features Patsy, one of the turn-bloods, her teenage son Wilson and a new character, Gabriel (a werevamp.) Patsy is destined to rule both worlds but all she really wants to do is hair.

This book has ghosts, animated zombies, vampires, werewolves and demons. My kind of book. And I have to say, the sex scenes are getting more tolerable. A couple more books and I may be ready to switch to Harlequins.

Kidding!

I followed the link from your DorothyL post and am so glad I did -- what a great blog and the only problem is it will add to my TBR list! I live in Maine and so far we have been exceedingly fortunate with weather -- a snowy, "real Maine" winter but spring has been lovely. Two of my adult children still live in Minneapolis though, not so nice there but at least so far the city has escaped the really bad weather. Now this morning I just read of the awful tornado at the Boy Scout camp in Iowa. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Thanks auntie knickers! (Love the name!)

I don't think adding my blog to your TBR list is a problem at all. =)

And don't worry...you can ask anyone who reads it...I'm terrible at posting regular, so just put it in your blogroll and forget it.

Thank you so much for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. The water seems to be receding but not fast enough. We do what we can do until we cannot do anymore. It has really brought our town together, once again.
